Homemade Fizz
Elderflower ChampagneI hope this works; there are masses of flowers about at the moment and plenty more to come. Pick them when they are dry, although this seems to be a bit tricky lately, and follow the recipe on the River Cottage link below. It's well worth making a cordial as well (tons of recipes online) which is utterly refreshing, it's like the best bits of a British summer in every gulp. It also benefits from a quick spritz with a dash of Gin, ice and lemon. If only it felt like summer at the moment - good for the garden though eh?http://www.rivercottage.net/forum/ask/wild-food-and-the-marine-larder/elderflower-champagne-the-truth/
