The well used footpath takes you though a rugged seculded valley just within the boundaries of the Exmoor National Park which follows the Heddon River to the coast. The walk begins at the splendid Hunters Inn and follows the rushing water where the only sounds are birdsong and the voices of excited children. A mile later we reached the tiny bay and the sea. Lunch back at the pub was a perfect finish to an exhilirating and spectacular walk. We recomend this as an ideal excursion.
