Family Day Out.

Midweek we woke up to a cloudless sunny day and we decided to leave the cottage to have an adventure. We couldnt resist the opportunity and so Sophie packed a delicious pic-nic and we set off for RHS Rosemoor near Torrington. It is a short drive from Silver Cottage and is well worth a visit when you B+B with us, and as you will see from the photos the gardens are truly stunning. There are a series of immaculately planted areas, Sophies favourite being the vegetable garden which reminded Esme of Mr. MacGregors'. We stopped for our lunch on the 'Brash' - an exciting childrens play area populated by very happy families who all had the same idea as us.  Esme and Albert walked for miles but with an adventure around every hedge they were happy to keep on going. We cannot wait to go back and next time visit the RHS shop. We feel sure that our own garden will benefit from the beautifully grown plants for sale.http://www.rhs.org.uk/Gardens/Rosemoor
