Happy New Year!

After having had a very happy and cosy Christmas here at the cottage with family and friends, we are swinging into a new year with vim and vigour!We have planted two of Sophie's Christmas gifts up in the top garden: two Mirabelle trees, the fruit of which make fabulous jam which we hope will grace our breakfast table for our guests in the Autumn. Sophie is as excited about this development as she is about the load of horse manure she has dug in to her new veg beds constructed by Matthew; heres to a productive and vegetable filled summer.
